Il est le chanteur algérien ayant conquis la France grâce à une pop qui emprunte au rap, au Rai, au RNB et à la musique latine. Soolking est définitivement l’étoile montante la plus remarquable.
Soolking publie son premier album, Fruit du démon, en novembre 2018, certifié disque d’or quelques semaines après sa sortie. Il trouve le succès notamment en France avec les titres Milano, puis Guérilla avant de connaitre un succès international avec le single Dalida; qui est classé dans le top 10 mondial de Deezer à sa sortie. Nommé en hommage à la chanteuse Dalida, Soolking reprend le refrain du tube Paroles…Paroles… de la chanteuse. Le single sera certifié single d’or et le titre Guérilla sera single de platine.
En 2019, il sort un clip pour sa chanson Rockstar et le 14 mars, il sort le clip La Liberté, d’une réadaptation d’une chanson du groupe de supporters Ouled El Bahdja de l’USM Alger qui est reprise au coeur des milliers de manifestants en Algérie. Début juin 2019, soit sept mois après la sortie de Fruit du démon, l’album est certifié disque de platine avec plus de 100 000 exemplaires vendus.
Soolking sera en tournée au Canada en novembre 2019 et il sera de passage à Algonquin Commons Theatre à Ottawa le 25 novembre pour partager avec vous son Fruit du démon !
He is the Algerian singer who conquered France with a song that adopted different styles of music such as rap, Rai, RNB and Latin. Soolking is definitely the most remarkable rising star.
Soolking released his first album, “Fruit du demon”, in November 2018, and certified gold only a few weeks after. He first gained his fame particularly in France, due to his hit singles titled “Milano”, and “Guérilla”, before experiencing international fame with his single “Dalida”; which was ranked top 10 in the world on Deezer, at its release. Named in tribute of the singer Dalida, Soolking remixed the chorus of her hit single “Paroles …Paroles”. The single will be certified gold and “Guérilla” platinum.
In 2019, he released a clip for his song “Rockstar” and on March 14, he released the video clip for “La Liberté”; a re-adaptation of a song from supporters of Ouled El Bahdja USM Alger, which is in the hearts of thousands of protesters in Algeria. In early June 2019, seven months after the release of “Fruit du demon”, the album is certified platinum with more than 100,000 copies sold.
Soolking will be touring in Canada in November 2019, and will be visiting the Algonquin Commons Theatre in Ottawa, on November 25th!
