Each year, the Algonquin Students’ Association hosts the Faculty Recognition Awards to honour professors from each campus who have been nominated by their students for an Excellence in Teaching Award. These professors are recognized by their students and the Algonquin Students’ Association for going above and beyond to ensure their classrooms inspire student success.
As part of the event, each year the SA also presents the Chris Warburton Award of Excellence and the Algonquin Students’ Association Board of Directors Award to college community members who make significant contributions to the student experience.
The 2022 Faculty Recognition Awards will honour all of the 2021 and 2022 recipients, and the event will take place on Tuesday, April 12 in the Algonquin Commons Theatre.
