A crisis can include difficulty dealing with stress, overwhelming feelings, symptoms of depression, anxiety or psychosis, suicidal thoughts, or any concerns regarding your mental health or that of your loved ones.

The Ottawa Dental Society coordinates a 24/7 voluntary dental emergency referral service.
Current students living in Ontario can make an appointment to see a nurse or doctor on campus. Services may include sexual health clinic, birth control, pap tests, immunizations for placements, and more depending on location.

The Ottawa campus Dental Clinic is a learning institute where students deliver lost-cost dental services under supervision by Registered Dental Hygienists and Dentists. Please note, each appointment here is 2.5 hours and you will be required to commit to a series of appointments until treatment has been completed.
Counselling Services provides professional, confidential support for mental health, academic, and career concerns.

If you are feeling unwell and unsure what to do about it, use this free, secure, and confidential service. You can call or access it online 24 hours a day, seven days a week to get health advice from a registered nurse or find health services or information.
You can see a nurse or doctor, often without an appointment at a walk-in clinic, and get advice, assessment and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries such as cuts, bruises, minor infections, sprains and skin complaints.

OHIP is Ontario’s health care plan. Through OHIP, the province pays for many of the health services you may need. You need to apply and, once you’re approved, you’ll get an Ontario health card. Your health card proves you’re covered by OHIP – that’s why you’ll need to show it every time you see your doctor, visit an emergency room, have a medical test or go for surgery.
