As the 2023-2024 Algonquin Students’ Association Board of Director’s term in office comes to a close, we want to thank them for their commitment and dedication to Algonquin students over the last year.
Led by a shared commitment to excellence and a drive for positive change, the 2023-2024 Board members upheld the SA’s mission to create an environment that inspires a passion for student success.
Their work has had significant impacts in ensuring:
- Quality and accessible housing for students on all campuses.
- Improving equity and accessibility in academics and campus facilities.
- Enhancing campus sustainability efforts.
- Building better relations with the City of Ottawa to improve transportation options for students.
- Helping to create stronger interconnectivity between domestic and international students.
Ben Dinh, General Manager and CEO of the SA, expressed his thanks to the Board. “It has been an honour to serve this Board and witness their personal and professional growth this year. Together, they’ve overcome challenges with strength and perseverance while remaining unified.”
The Board of Directors is made up of full-time Algonquin College students who are elected each spring to serve a one-year term in office and govern the SA through policy development.
The SA staff and membership are thankful for the hard work and dedication of the 2023-2024 Board and wish them the best in future endeavours.
