Creative Requests

You have a great idea, but you need help bringing it to life! Submit a creative request to let Communications and Marketing assist you.

Requests must be submitted a minimum of 15 business days in advance. During busy times of the year, your request might require more time to complete – the earlier you submit your request, the better!

Editing deadline: edits take time and are not always feasible! We are happy to complete one round of edits within the approved time frame. Additional edits are made at the discretion of the creative director.

  • For video/graphics and web, any changes require three business days’ notice.
  • For printing, one week’s notice is required.
  • Without sufficient notice, edits/changes/updates may not be completed.

Please note:

Your creative request must be submitted in full, or it will not be added to the queue.

Be sure to submit all of the desired wording or ideas required in the creative request to avoid unnecessary edits. All fields are mandatory. If not applicable, please write N/A. If you have a question about whether something should be submitted as a creative request, email your marketing officer.

By submitting your creative request, you agree to the terms above. Once a creative request is approved, any changes needed will have to be submitted in a new creative request.

Q & A:

A marketing request encompasses any request for the marketing team (marketing officers, photographer/videographer, or graphic designers). This includes an event, a new campaign idea, merchandise, asset updates, design requests, and photography or videography.

A communications request is any request for the communications team (communications manager, web and digital marketing coordinator, social media coordinator). This includes written copy, social media requests, website updates or changes, website edits, etc.

If you need help determining where your request falls, please email the marketing manager.

The following items should be sent as emails and not as a creative request:

  • Scheduling updates - class cancellations, changes to hours of operation, and event changes (date, time, location, or cancellation).
  • Asset changes - if you require an update to an asset, please email your respective marketing officer rather than submitting a new request. The marketing officer will communicate with the design team.
  • Event/campaign help - if you have an event that you feel needs more attention, please discuss this with your marketing officer. The status and success of events/campaigns should always be directly communicated to the marketing officer, including any additional promotional efforts needed.

These are very important changes, and to ensure rapid communication, they should be sent directly to the marketing officer via email.

You should email your respective marketing officer if you submit a marketing request. You should email the communications manager if you have a question about a communications request.
