In a grand celebration of culture and tradition, University of Ottawa Chinese Students’ Association (UOCSA), Carleton University Chinese Students’ Association (CUCSA), and Algonquin College Chinese Students’ Alliance(ACCSA) in Ottawa are coming together to host a spectacular Spring Festival Gala, marking the arrival of the Chinese 2025 New Year. This festive event brings the Chinese communities, especially Chinese students in Ottawa, together to honor the spirit of the Chinese New Year through an evening of captivating performances and cultural expressions.

The gala will feature a variety of artistic showcases, blending traditional Chinese elements with modern interpretations. From lively group performances to enchanting musical ensembles, the evening promises to be a celebration of creativity, unity, and cultural heritage.

This celebration not only highlights the beauty and richness of Chinese culture but also strengthens the bonds within the Chinese communities in Ottawa. The gala reflects the core values of the Chinese New Year—family, unity, and the joy of new beginnings.

Parking

Paid parking is in effect at all times. Red Parking Lot 8 is the closest possible lot to our venue. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map.
