Intramurals - Algonquin Students' Association

Dive into the excitement of Recreation at Algonquin College. We offer a variety of Intramural leagues and tournaments year-round in our amazing sports venues, including the Sports Field, Rec Gym, and Varsity Gym. Register now to stay active, and create new connections with something for everyone.

Students or staff with an active ARC membership for a minimum of 4 months are eligible to participate in our Intramural Programs.

Leagues

Get ready for an exciting season of sports with our upcoming Winter 2025 Intramural Sports Leagues! Join us for friendly competition and fun in our Soccer, Volleyball, Ball Hockey, and Basketball Leagues. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to try something new, there’s a spot for you!

You can register:

  • As an Individual
  • As a Team:
    • Soccer: Teams must consist of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 14 players.
    • Flag Football: Teams must consist of 8 players.
    • Basketball: Teams must consist of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 14 players.
    • Volleyball: Teams must consist of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 12 players.

Reserve your spot by making your payment at the ARC Welcome Desk before Friday, January 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM. (*Payment is required to complete registration.)

  • Individual Fee:
    • $10 – per member, fees are non-refundable
  • Team Fee:
    • $50 – per team, fees are non-refundable

Wolves’ Winter Classic Tournaments

Lace up your skates and hit the ice at the Wolves’ Winter Classic! Join us for an action-packed intramural ice hockey tournament at the Nepean Sportsplex on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to have fun, this tournament is for everyone!

You can register:

  • As an Individual
  • As a Team:
    • Teams must consist of a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 15 players.

Reserve your spot by making your payment at the ARC Welcome Desk before January 15, 2025. (*Payment is required to complete registration.)

  • Individual Fee:
    • $25 – per member, fees are non-refundable
  • Team Fee:
    • $250 – per team, fees are non-refundable

Spots are limited. The first 18 individuals and the first 4 teams to complete registration will be accepted. We will let you know whether you’re selected to play.
