International Day of Pink Wear pink on Wednesday, April 9, to raise awareness and fight against bullying, discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, and transmisogyny worldwide.
The International Day of Pink started in 2007 when two Nova Scotia high school students rallied their school to support a classmate who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. You can support the International Day of Pink by learning how to prevent bullying and support those affected by it. Being an ally means listening to others and learning about their experiences to genuinely show our support.
Join us in the Student Commons (E Building) on Wednesday, April 9, to learn about anti-bullying and win prizes, all in the fight for equality and acceptance!
