We are celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Snake! 🐍🧧

This special occasion marks the start of a new year on China’s traditional lunisolar calendar. It is celebrated as the most important festival in China (known as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival), South Korea (as Seollal), Vietnam (as Tet) and several other countries. It’s a time for family and friends to gather and spread joy.

The SA is hosting festivities in collaboration with the Algonquin Chinese Student Alliance and the Vietnamese Student Club. The event will offer treats, cultural showcases and activities, free bubble tea, and a live performance from the Success Dragon Lion Dance Troupe.

Parking

Paid parking is in effect at all times. Red Parking Lot 8 is the closest possible lot to our venue. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map.
