The Algonquin Students’ Association Faculty Recognition Awards were established in 1995 to honor faculty members who have gone above and beyond to support students. Each year, students nominate professors who inspire a passion for student success, and a committee of students and SA staff selects the award recipients from Ottawa, Pembroke, and Perth.

Awards Presented:

  • Excellence in Teaching Award: Recognizes professors who significantly contribute to student success across all campuses.
  • Chris Warburton Award of Excellence: Awarded to a community member who has made a significant contribution to student life.
  • Algonquin Students’ Association Board of Directors Award: Given to a community member who supports the advancement of the Board of Directors’ priorities.

This prestigious, invite-only event celebrates the outstanding contributions of faculty to the student experience.

Coat Check

A complimentary Coat Check will be provided. Large bags (such as backpacks, large purses, and gym bags) are not permitted into the venue.

Parking

Paid parking is in effect at all times. Red Parking Lot 8 is the closest possible lot to our venue. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map.
