The Observatory is the heartbeat of Algonquin’s Woodroffe campus. It features excellent house-made fresh food and cold beverages in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. It is fully licensed and proudly accepts the student meal plan for all food purchases.

The Observatory is also proud to host some of Algonquin’s favourite student events, and is available for public rentals. As a Students’ Association owned and operated facility, the Observatory’s food and drinks are priced with students in mind.

OBscene Hot Sauce

OBscene Hot Sauce is a unique handcrafted sauce created by the Observatory. We slow smoke the peppers, select each ingredient with care, and let the sauce ferment for days before we bottle it by hand in small batches.
